Ferguson is said to be ‘disappointed’ that he is being left in the dark over key decisions at the club by Ed Woodward and Co – and he is asking his former right-hand man and current assistant manager Mike Phelan for all the latest goings-on.A source close to Ferguson told the Mail on Sunday: “Sir Alex feels conflicted. He can see the irony that he still spends time thinking about United when hes retired.“But he loves the club and does feel a bit hurt that his opinion is never sought.”
